Beef Workshops Announced

The Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture would like to announce two beef producer workshops that will be held in conjunction with the Zone 5 and Zone 6 NSCP Zone Meetings. The first workshop will be held on Tuesday February 7 starting at 7:00pm at the Aylesford Fire Hall. The second will be held the following evening, Wednesday January 8 starting at 7:00pm at the Best Western in Bridgewater. Below is an outline of the program. Note: the Zone Meeting will be held immediately following the workshop. See you there!

Beef Consumer Trends By: Andrew Knight, Sr. Planning & Development Officer, NSDA
How do consumers view beef? What impacts their purchases of beef? This presentation answers these questions by highlighting retail, consumption and consumer trends of beef and the niche markets of natural, organic and grass-fed beef.
