The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is launching a 45-day consultation period from September 30, 2020, to November 15, 2020, to seek feedback and to inform upcoming changes to the Feeds Regulations. If you wish to participate in this consultation, please send your feedback by November 15, 2020.

The Canadian Beef Check-Off Agency (the Agency) held their Annual General Meeting virtually this year, occurring September 24, 2020. Larry Weatherby, NSCP Chair, was re-elected to the board as the Primary Producers representative for Nova Scotia, as well as Chair of the Governance Committee. If you were unable to catch the AGM live, a recording can be found on the Agency’s YouTube channel.
